Construction Staking
Predominantly utilized for commercial construction, construction staking, widely also referred to as site layout surveys are the process of visually interpreting construction blueprints using stakes as reference points. The stakes placed by surveyors will not only mark the dimensions and location of the structure to be built but potentially roads, electrical lines, water lines, etc. With the visual markers in place, your contractors are able to maintain accuracy and compliance with the plan.
Residential
If you are selling, buying, or refinancing a property, you are required to have a survey performed by a licensed surveyor. Title companies require these surveys to close real estate.

Further, if you are putting up a new fence, need to plat or replat your property, or if your property is in a flood zone, a survey will be required.

ABOUT
Civil surveying is an engineering operation that involves assessing and recording details about an area of land. These observations can then be used to help plan construction projects.

The main purpose of surveying in civil engineering is to determine the three-dimensional relationships between different locations. Knowing information like the distances and angles between points and lines helps engineers determine how to draw up plans for public buildings, homes, roads, bridges, and a variety of other construction and infrastructure projects.
